Details Of Resources
Grammar

Schaum's Outline of French Grammar, 7th Edition: a classic grammar book used by VCE students across Victoria. The book offers clear explanations as well as plenty of drilling activities. Schaum's also offers an exhaustive list of expressions relevant to each grammar point.
Practice Makes Perfect, Complete French Grammar: another reference used by many VCE students. Clarity of explanations and drilling activities allow for good acquisition of grammar.
Grammaire progressive du français, niveau intermédiaire: this book is not specifically for English-speakers, but we highly recommend this book for its format (concise and precise explanations on one page + associated activities on the opposite page) and the quality of its engaging activities.
English Grammar For French Students: whilst this book does not offer drilling activities, it is an excellent supplementary resource. The author uses examples of the English language to explain grammatical points that can be tricky for English-speakers.
